Accommodation in Raja Ampat

Visitors who travel to Raja Ampat need accommodation. There are beach resorts, homestays, guesthouses and even liveaboards whom tourists can choose to stay during their holiday in the islands.

Homestay

There are a lot of homestays in Raja Ampat. Most of them are concentrated in southern region of Waigeo, Gam, Kri, Mansuar, Arborek, Piaynemo, Batanta, and Misool islands. Some are listed below:

• Yengkawe Homestay is located in a narrow beach secluded or separated from the nearby Saporkren village by rock wall that is covered by pristine rainforest. It is located in the south of Waigeo island. There are several over the water bungalows made of wood and covered by thatched roof. Separate western style toilets are located on the land. A wooden bridge connects the bungalows with the beach. It also connects the bungalows with a steep walking path that led visitors to the lek of Red Bird of Paradise (Paradisaea rubra). There is an above-the-water deck which visitors can sit to enjoy sunbathing or see the beautiful seascape. Yengkawe homestay is located near Lesser Urai island which is at the entrance passage to Kabui Bay.
